Cooperative Membership Cost: $25 per month with minimum of one year commitment billable automatically to Pay Pal or a major charge card.

Cooperative Membership Benefits:

  1. Perimeter fences with locks.
  2. Up to 10’ wide x 20’ long dedicated space for your individual plantings with finished bed of soil ready for planting.  Plant your fruit, vegetable and/or herb crops.
  3. Mulch in bulk supplied 3 times a year.
  4. One Moringa oleifera Tree previously planted.
  5. One small start of a Red Lady Papaya fruit tree.
  6. Fresh water supply by shared hose, unfiltered well water.
  7. Seed exchange.
  8. "Fire ring" for small, evening, recreational bon-fires.
  9. Occasional advertisement on Hendry Creek Hideaway Website.
  10. Forum for Cooperative Members and links to their individual web pages.
  11. Area on Maida Lane to create “Farmer’s Market” if desired by Coop Members with signage.  Obtain proper permits if items are not grown on site.
  12. Use of common area kayak, canoe launch, to Hendry Creek with access to Estero Bay to Fort Myers Beach.  Space to store maximum of two skiffs, canoe or kayaks (or one small fishing boat on trailer) per membership. Provide your own lock. Fish for food!
  13. Access to wooded, 21 acre site for picnics, overnight camping and recreation, except where agriculture machines and trucks may be stored.
  14. Shared parking for one automobile, without assigned spaces.
  15. Space for fenced farm animal, such as dairy goats, chickens, etc., but fencing shall be provided by member.
  16. Anticipate small office trailer at entry with rest room, shower and WiFi.
  17. Fenced 9 AC, open-leash, dog park, plus access to 21 AC leashed dog park.
  18. Use your own hog trap. No guns. Trap hogs. Good eating!
  19. Access to state owned park property for hiking, as allowable by state (no hunting, vehicles).
  20. Use of Hendry Creek dock for temporary tie-up of fishing boats for a few hours is free.  Permanent boat parking with assigned space at the dock for additional fee of $75/month.
  21. Permanent, assigned parking space dedicated to farm equipment, trailer or agriculture truck parking for additional fee of $75/ month.

Social Benefits of Farming Cooperative Participation:

  1. Grow your own food! Grow food for others!
  2. Make friends, meet new people and learn to cooperate as a team.
  3. Encourage wholesome, family activities in wooded, protected environment.
  4. Learn about Florida's environment and protected plant/animal species with real life experiences.
  5. Share your agriculture techniques and ideas with others.
  6. Opportunities (Optional) for any members to work as a collective, if members agree creating a whole that is greater than the sum of the parts.

    Terms and Conditions: By joining the Hendry Creek Hideaway LLC Farming Cooperative you agree to a one year membership for $300 per year, payable in monthly installments of $25/month. No refunds. Farming Coorperative members agree to abide by all cooperative rules and regulations, and all local, state and federal regulations and laws. Members agree to indeminfy, defend and hold harmless the property owners, managers, directors, agents, employees, successors, lien holders and assigns from any and all claims includng attorney's fees, expenses, demands, damages, actions, and suits of any kind of liability that may result from use of said membership for access to the property described herein.
